MARANTZ SOLID STATE STEREO CONSOLE MODEL 7T PREAMPLIFIER.. COMPLETELY ORIGINAL NO MODIFICATIONS. ONE OWNER WITH DOCUMENTS. This auction is for a vintage Marantz Model 7T stereo preamplifier serial number 13377. This item has been tested and is in complete operational condition. Both channels are clean and clear with no hum, buzz, noise, or distortion. All the switches and potentiometers are smooth, quiet, and the power lamp is working. Internal boards and chassis are beautiful with no signs of burned, stressed, or cracked components. This is a one owner 7T that belonged to a Hi-Fi salesman from the golden age of audio. This is in 100% original condition with no modifications. He kept it for almost 5 decades until I recently acquired it. The transistor model 7T is becoming more popular now. Marantz actually pushed sales of 7Ts with 8B power amps in the mid 1960s before the vacuum tube amplifiers were discontinued. Cosmetic condition is very good. The face, knobs, and rear panels are excellent. There are some small very minor marks on the cabinet top, no dents. This 7T comes with all its orignal paper work. This includes the schematic, Marantz 3 year warranty card, the type written mimeographed 7 page owner manual, and the bench test specification sheet all in outstanding condition. A real gem.
